Delay on Dubai Metro Red Line due to smoke detection
RTA addresses issue, says services back to normal in less than an hour

Dubai: In an alert on X, the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said this morning that Dubai Metro Red Line users can expect a delay at the On Passive Metro Station due to smoke detected from a passenger's electronic scooter.
Alternative bus services have been provided at the station, it said at 9.33am.
As soon as the problem was addressed, RTA issued another notification at 10.17am on X, saying services were back to normal at On Passive Station.
