Dubai: No injuries were reported in a fire that broke out in a residential building in Al Barsha 1 in Dubai on Tuesday.

The blaze was controlled and cooling operations have been completed, Dubai Civil Defence said.

The Dubai Civil Defence Operations Room received a report at 3:44 am from an individual reporting a fire in a building in Al Barsha 1. Accordingly, Al Barsha fire station was dispatched as the first responder. The team arrived at 3:53am, achieving a response time of seven minutes. It was found that the incident was moderate, prompting a request for support from Al Marsa fire station.

At 5:54am, a signal was received from the field commander indicating that the fire was under cooling, with no injuries reported. At 7:22 am, another signal was received from the field commander confirming that the incident was fully resolved.

The site will be handed over to relevant authorities according to the standard procedures.
