Abu Dhabi: Two Emiratis were killed, and one was injured in a car accident while travelling in Saudi Arabia.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the National Search and Rescue Center, conducted an air rescue mission to transport the injured individual and repatriate the bodies of the deceased.
With the support of Saudi authorities, the injured Emirati was airlifted to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in the UAE for further treatment after receiving initial care at King Khalid Hospital in Hail, Saudi Arabia. The bodies of the deceased were also transported back to the UAE.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere gratitude to the Saudi authorities for their cooperation, which was instrumental in the success of the air rescue mission and the safe transfer of the injured and the repatriation of the deceased.
