Bahrain king appoints Shaikh Abdullah as personal representative

Manama: Bahrain's King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa has appointed his son as his personal representative.

According to a royal order published by Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa is appointed personal representative of the king.

Shaikh Abdullah will represent the king in missions in Bahrain and abroad. He will set up an administration within the Royal Court structure, the order said.

Shaikh Abdullah, the second son of King Hamad, is the Governor of the Southern Governorate and President of the General Commission for Protection of Marine Resources, Wildlife and Environment.
