Dubai: Dubai Public Prosecution (DPP) organised an awareness campaign on diabetes and its attendant health risks for the benefit of its staff and those using its services. The event was held in coordination with Dubai Health Authority.
Some 110 DPP staff and residents benefitted from the campaign and availed free check-ups for the early detection of diabetes.
Arif Sultan Al Rahoumi, the campaign’s general coordinator, said the event aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of diabetes and ways to avoid it especially through early detection and combating it at primary stages.
