Omani boy drowns at family farm in Bahla

Muscat: A two-year-old Omani boy drowned at a family farm in Bahla, northwest of Muscat.

According to a Royal Oman Police (ROP), the father was attending to a phone call when the child submerged his head in the water flowing in the farm.

"The father pulled out the child but the infant died before reaching to the hospital," the police spokesperson said.

The police have advised residents not to leave children unattended.
