Islamabad: The Hindi translation of Pakistani president General Pervez Musharraf's autobiography will be named after a Bollywood film starring Amitabh Bachchan, an icon the general is known to like.

Agnipath Meri Atmakatha will be the title of the Hindi version of In the Line of Fire launched by Musharraf in New York on Monday.

"President Musharraf is fond of Bachchan and will be pleased [with the title]," a source said.

The translation was delayed because Musharraf wanted to clear sensitive sections about the Kargil war, according to reports. The version is likely to be on sale in India in about a week's time.

Musharraf asserts in the book that "whatever movement has taken place so far in the direction of finding a solution to Kashmir is due considerably to the Kargil conflict".

In The Line of Fire will soon be available in UAE bookstores.
