Dubai: A truck loaded with cargo caught fire, leading to a tailback on Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road on Wednesday afternoon.

Fire fighters from Dubai Civil Defence and Dubai Police teams swung into action immediately and put out the fire. The road was cleared for traffic movement after the fire was doused. According to initial reports, truck caught fire on highway E311 in the direction of Sharjah. The reason behind the truck fire is still unknown as the police are investigating the incident.
