Sharjah: Visitors at Al Hamriya beach made a grisly discovery on Tuesday morning — the body of a woman floating in the sea, a Sharjah Police official told Gulf News.
The body of the 23-year-old Yemeni woman was spotted around 8am.
The man who found the body pulled it out of the water and transferred it to Khalifa Hospital in Umm Al Quwain.
The incident was reported to the Sharjah Police’s operations room.
The body was later transferred to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy to determine the circumstances behind the woman’s death.
