Dubai: Suzan Tamim was laid to rest on Monday, but the long story of her short life is yet to be concluded.
With the passing of every day, more details are revealed about the dead singer's life, although not much is known yet about her death.
Suzan's troubles with her two husbands, Ali Muzannar and Adel Matouk were no secret, but to inflame matters further, a third man has come forward claiming to be her third husband.
Riad Al Azzawi, a Briton of Iraqi origin, sent letters to some Arabic newspapers, in which he described Suzan as his wife, and pledged to do everything he could to bring her killer to justice. He also said he knew who killed Suzan and why.
The letters sent by Al Azzawi were accompanied by pictures of the couple at a party, although the pictures do not prove anything since the two were just sitting at a table.
Meanwhile, Matouk's media representatives said he would hold a press conference to clarify some facts, but issued two statements instead.
In his last statement, Matouk denied he had a nervous breakdown when he heard of Suzan's death but said he was sad and stressed because of the murder, since the two lived together for a while and had shared memories.

He also quoted an Arabic website that claimed Suzan was under pressure to marry someone and told some friends that she was threatened and feared for her life.
In an earlier statement, Matouk asked reporters not to sensationalise the story and respect the dead and his marital relationship with Suzan.
It was known that Matouk was a jealous husband, and had asked Suzan to quit singing and become a housewife. He then used his exclusive 15-year contract with her to tie her up completely - something which made her suffer a lot, since she was not allowed to record songs, hold concerts, appear on TV, have her pictures published or even issue a statement without his consent. Needless to say, he never permitted her to move.
He also filed a lawsuit against her demanding she pays him $15 million (Dh55m) which he claimed were the losses he incurred through his investment in Suzan's promotional campaigns and album.
This prompted the singer to quit singing and pursue her studies in business to take on another profession, according to her friends.
Suzan's father, Abdul Sattar Tamim, earlier called on the police not to publish pictures of Suzan's body and not to release her body to anyone except her direct family, in an obvious reference to Suzan's husband.
However, her body was delivered to her husband Matouk.
Her mother, Thuraya, who was in Dubai a few days before the crime, was not receiving condolences with the rest of the family, but received mourners on her own.
