Dubai: A private chauffeur pulled his sponsor’s four-year-old boy from the house garden into his bedroom and molested him, heard a court on Wednesday.
The Emirati schoolboy was said to be playing in the villa’s garden when his mother noticed that he had gone missing in May.
She asked the babysitter to go and search for the boy, the latter notified her after a while that her four-year-old son had disappeared.
Once the mother called the family’s 30-year-old Pakistani chauffeur to ask him about her son, the latter told her that the boy was with him in his bedroom, said records.
When the boy went to the kitchen, the mother realised that his backside was hurting and when she asked him about the reason, he told her that he had been molested.
The mother instantly reported the matter to the police who apprehended the Pakistani.
Prosecutors accused the suspect of molesting the minor.
According to the accusation sheet, prosecutors said the suspect abused the fact that the small boy was alone with him in the bedroom and molested him.
The Pakistani denied molesting the minor when he defended himself before the Dubai Court of First Instance. “I did not touch him … I am innocent,” he told presiding judge Arafa Mohammad.
A police sergeant claimed to prosecutors: “The woman reported to the police that the suspect had molested her son, aged 4, in the villa in Al Barsha. When we reached the location, the mother claimed that the suspect brought the boy from his bedroom to the kitchen after she noticed that he was missing. The mother further alleged that her son told her that the suspect used some baby oil when he abused him.
“When I confronted the suspect, he admitted that he had used a lubricant when he molested the boy and then cleaned him up.”
The suspect was quoted as admitting to prosecutors that he lured the boy, who was playing in the garden, to his room where he molested him.
A ruling will be heard on July 25.
