Manama The body of the third teen who died near a beach in Qatar five days ago has been found.
The search and rescue team spotted the lifeless body around 13 kilometres from the Abu Fetnass Beach, where three brothers were believed to have drowned after spending the afternoon there, local Arabic daily Al Arab reported on Thursday.
The first and second bodies were found hours after the police were alerted to the tragedy. Several divers, civil defence and coast guard staff were involved in the massive effort to find the three.
The daily said the authorities reiterated a warning to the public to avoid areas of high risk. Local residents have reportedly said strong currents could have caused the tragic deaths of the three siblings.
Parents should also be vigilant when they go on family trips and outings to help avoid tragedy, the authorities said.
