The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has warned residents that strong winds and rough seas to continue until Wednesday.
Over the next two days, residents should get ready for more cloudy and unstable weather as weather forecasters expect a significant drop in temperature down to 15 degrees Celsius and 17 degrees Celsius in the mountain and coastal areas respectively.

The NCMS also said that moderate to strong winds will cause sand and dust storms, especially over exposed areas.
Residents recorded footage of how the storm affected mountains and valleys that left areas flooded in water, such as in Jebel Hafeet, Al Ain.

Rainfall with different intensity was recorded over most areas of the UAE. Thundery rain was reported in Fujairah, rainfall in Kalba, Dibba and other northern Emirates. Light rain was recorded early on Tuesday in Minhad, while Thawban saw heavy rain.
Met officials said fresh strong winds may also cause blowing dust and poor visibility.
A five-day forecast until March 21 shows fresh winds coming from the north bringing cooler climes and rain.
