½ kg flour No. 2 |
sprinkle of saffron |
sprinkle of salt |
½ tsp cardamom powder |
½ tsp yeast |
50 gm milk powder |
2 tsp sugar |
1 ½ cup water |
1 litre oil for deep-frying |
1 bottle of date syrup |
1 tsp sesame Seeds |
Method
1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
2. Cover the bowl and keep aside for three to four hours.
3. Heat the oil in a pot.
4. Take the flour mixture and mix once again.
5. Make lime-sized dumplings and fry in medium heat oil until golden brown.
6. Take out from oil and serve hot in a platter topped with the date syrup.
