Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, praised yesterday President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan for lending special care and support for the education and training of the UAE Armed Forces officers.
Shaikh Mohammad said the President "provides incessant support for academic, intellectual and military education and training to army officers so as to enrich their knowledge and develop their skills as future commanders.
Challenges
Speaking yesterday at the graduation of the 16th batch of the Joint Command and Staff College, Shaikh Mohammad asked the graduating officers to pursue the path of learning modern military sciences, acquaint themselves with the latest defence systems and technology and develop their capabilities in order to meet future challenges.
The ceremony was also attended by Shaikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior, Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs, shaikhs and senior officials and dignitaries.
