Seoul: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, was in the spotlight of the Korea news media for the second day in a row.
Korea's largest circulation vernacular daily Chosun Ilbo carried a front-page story about Shaikh Mohammad, who the paper said has realised an economic miracle in the desert.
In an interview with the Chosun Ilbo, Shaikh Mohammad talked frankly about the achievements and challenges for the Gulf nation.
He said: "It is due to the vast desert spaces of his country, where the mind has the freedom to think, to explore and to dream.
"Dubai had big dreams and a bright vision and we used what we had - and created what we needed - to build the right environment where big ideas and fresh thinking can take off," he said. He said his primary duties are promoting growth and development, adding, "The differences between a politician and entrepreneur are very few."

The Korea Times and the Korea Herald also prominently reported activities of Shaikh Mohammad, pinning high hope that his visit to Korea, would provide a momentum in expanding the mutually beneficial relations between the two countries in the years to come.
Diplomacy Journal, a leading English monthly magazine, also carried a featured story on Shaikh Mohammad, focusing on his visionary leadership which is behind the dynamic development of Dubai in recent years.
