Abu Dhabi: The UAE has called for an emergency UN Security Council meeting on Friday to discuss the ongoing violence in the West Bank.

The meeting is aimed at discussing the rapidly escalating situation due to violence by extremist settlers and Israeli raids that are expected to harm diplomatic efforts to forge a two-state solution.
