Dubai's contender for the Irish beauty contest, the Rose of Tralee, was announced in an exclusive ceremony held on the city's latest development, ‘Ireland' of The World on Sunday.
Aileen McCarthy was officially declared this year's entry in the long-established event which seeks out the loveliest Irish females from all over the world to compete for the coveted Rose of Tralee title.
Client Handover Manager Aileen, was thrilled to be awarded her crown by Mark Waldron and Conor Farrell directors of O' Dolan International, the company behind the ‘Ireland In The Sun' development.
Twenty six year old Aileen, a Dubai expat for nearly two years, will represent Dubai in Ireland against 30 other contestants in August.
“I am absolutely thrilled to represent both Dubai and Ireland in this celebrated Irish tradition and it is an honour to become the Rose of Ireland In The Sun,'' she said.
Roses will travel from the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Luxembourg, Dubai and France to the town of Tralee in Ireland to contend.
