Mohammed Al Joker, the UAE's first-choice snooker player, was crowned champion of the second open Ramadan snooker tournament which concluded on Monday. Joker beat Huamid Al Darmaky 5-1 in the final.
The six-day event was organised by Al Firsan for Billiards and Snooker centre in Al Ain, under the patronage of Sada Al Khaleej establishment for general contracting and maintenance. Thirty-two participants took part including several from the UAE national team stars. Saif Al Kutbei finished third following his well-deserved win over Rashid Shakeely by the same margin.
Wael Hasson, manager of Al Firsan centre, thanked the sponsor of the tournament on the concluding day. At the end of the concluding day Ali Bakheet Al Kutbei, owner of the sponsor, along with Wael Hasson presented the prizes.
