Al Ghazal Golf Club, in association with Emirates Media, is offering local golfers the chance to win a place to play in the Abu Dhabi World Sand Golf Championship which will take place at Al Ghazal on March 8.

All golfers with a handicap of 24 or below for men and 30 or below for women can enter a competition on Emirates Radio 2's Power Breakfast show for a chance to play with some of the world's top golfers, including Nick Faldo, Padraig Harrington, Ian Woosnam, Jean Van De Velde and many more.

In addition, all competition entrants in the first week will go into a further draw to win a return air ticket to Beirut courtesy of Gulf Air, the official carrier of the Abu Dhabi World Sand Golf Championship.

During the second week, all competition entrants will stand a chance of winning an off-road driving kit from Land Rover Al Otaiba Group, the official car sponsor of the tournament.

Mohamed Mounib, Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Airport Catering and Duty Free (which manages the Al Ghazal Golf Club) said "We have decided to enter into this competition with Emirates Media in order to offer golfers in the UAE the chance to play with some of the world's top professionals in a unique sporting event, the first international golf tournament to be played on sand worldwide.

"The response to the competition so far has been phenomenal, and we are delighted with the level of increased awareness of the tournament that has resulted from the radio competition.
