Dubai rock band Nikotin are ready to unleash. Five years after the band’s five members first got together, they are launching their debut album Panodrama on March 8, with a concert at Hard Rock Café Dubai.
The band, who’ve supported several international bands including Nickelback, Maximo Park and The Kooks, have worked with Bosnian producer Elvis Garagic for the eight-track album which was recorded in Dubai.
“It didn’t come fast. It certainly didn’t come easy. But it’s here and we couldn’t be happier with the final outcome,” says Cruize, the lead vocalist who only goes by one name. “This album is the soundtrack to our lives and hopefully the first of many to come.”
Overloaded, a track the band has become known for in rock circles, will also feature in the album. The track incorporates voices of fans which was gathered via a crowd-sourcing initiative.
The preview concert will be followed by a physical album release, the band said.
The Panodrama launch concert on March 8 at Hard Rock Café, Dubai Festival City, is free to attend. Show begins 7:30pm.
