Kamal Haasan in Dubai

South Indian actor Kamal Haasan has chosen Dubai to premiere his Tamil film Uttama Villain on April 30 at Golden Cinemas in Bur Dubai. The actor is expected to make an appearance at 10.30pm.

Directed by Ramesh Aravind, Uttama Villain is a tale of an eighth century theatre artist and a modern-day superstar — both played by 60-year-old Haasan.

The film also features actors including Jayaram, Naseer and Pooja Kumar. Haasan has won four National Awards and more than a dozen popular film awards.
