Muscat: Oman has advised its citizens against travelling to Thailand 'unless it is extremely necessary'.
The foreign ministry has issued a statement advising Omani citizens not to travel to Thailand for the time being.
Omanis are also asked to take precautions due to the prevailing security conditions in Bangkok, according to government news agency ONA.
