Muscat: More than 12 distinguished career experts and about 25 renowned university heads from different parts of the world, will take part in a two-day annual career fair to be held at the Indian School Muscat, beginning on Thursday.
Experts from different career fields will be making presentations, covering such topics such as Careers in Pure Science, Teaching and Academics, Engineering and Technical, Medical, Health Care and Health Sciences, Hospitality Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Management and Geosciences. This will be followed by a question and answer session.
The aim is to create a common platform for higher education institutions from a number of countries in the region, with the aim that senior school students will interact and discuss the options available to them after they complete classes10 and 12.
Professors, admission officers and representatives from MIT-Pune, Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham, Hindustan University, Al Ahlam Educational Services, National Hospitality Institute, GUTech, Majan University College, Polyglot Institute, Global Edu, Embassy of Canada, Swineburne University of Technology, Malaysian Universities and many other educational organisations will be taking part.
Entry to the fair and the seminars is free for students and their parents. It’s also open to all those interested in knowing more about higher education.
