Al Ain: Cloudy and foggy conditions were seen in some of the major cities of the UAE on Tuesday morning, reducing visibility and causing problems for motorists.
The weather will remain partly cloudy with moderate to fresh winds at times, especially over the sea, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS). Police and the weather bureau also issued a warning for motorists, alerting them of foggy conditions in Liwa, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, parts of Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and some inland areas.
The sea is likely to be rough in the Arabian Gulf. The NCMS said similar conditions are likely to continue, but there are no chances of rain. Humidity will increase by night and early in the morning in inland areas with a chance of fog over scattered areas.
Temperatures continue to be low with a minimum of 11 degrees Celsius generally and just 5C in mountainous areas.
The minimum temperature expected in internal areas is 11C, with a maximum of 24C. People in the mountainous areas reported chilly conditions at night.
