Abu Dhabi: The martyrs’ families affairs office at the Court of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince has approved the official logo for Martyrs’ Day, which will be observed in the country on November 30.
The office said that the launch of a unified logo for Martyrs’ Day comes as part of its plan which includes a variety of events and activities that exemplify the interaction of the UAE society to commemorate martyrs and to immortalise their sacrifice.
The office will design all special commemorative materials and items to observe Martyrs’ Day. This comes in line with the office’s keenness to highlight this important day in a manner that lives up to the sacrifices of the martyrs. The office will contact all competent government bodies and provide them with a guide regarding all events and activities held on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day.
It will also include instructions regarding the use of the unified logo, in a move that aims to coordinate participation, interaction and celebration of this national occasion.
The office called on all official bodies to adopt this logo. The martyrs’ families’ affairs office was set up in line with the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, as a body dedicated to providing the necessary support to the families of martyrs.
