The Philippine Business Council (PBC) in the UAE will celebrate Filipino music and cuisine during the launch of its Abu Dhabi Chapter, according to its chairman, Amroussi "Cheng" Rasul.

The unique event, dubbed "Pasko Na Naman", which is also a Christmas celebration, will be held on December 19 at the Millennium Hotel, Abu Dhabi.

Rasul said the cultural celebration will be open to the international community to experience authentic Philippine-Spanish cuisine by celebrated Filipino chef "Marcos", blended with Christmas melodies on piano, acoustic guitar and violin to be performed by the Mabuhay Ensemble and guest artists.

"Pasko Na Naman", supported by ABS-CBN Middle East, Omeir Travel Agency, Emke Group and the UAE Exchange, is spearheaded by Jovy Tuaño, Chief Representative of PBC-Abu Dhabi, supported by a core group of established Overseas Filipinos.

Tuaño also welcomed other Filipino entrepreneurs and professionals to join the PBC's activities (www.philbc-uae.com) while serving the community.
