Dubai Municipality picks up 200 tons of waste at Dubai Creek

Dubai: Dubai Municipality has completed the second phase of the ‘Dubai creek clean up project’, extracting around 200 tons of waste and garbage clumps.

The project’s phases first two phases have extracted a total of 373 tons of waste from the creek.

Engineer Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality, said that the project consists of four phases that will be completed over a period of 14 months, and is given special attention by the municipality due to its importance in preserving the maritime environment.

The second phase was completed in 35 days.
