Legendary singer Diana Ross produced a memorable performance at the Dubai Airshow Gala Dinner entertained over 4,000 guests. The event was jointly organised by Emirates Airline, Dubai Duty Free and the Dubai Airports Company.

Ross was in Dubai to perform exclusively at the event. The audience included heads of state, government representatives, Airshow exhibitors, business representatives and media.

The Dubai Airshow Gala Dinner, which was one of the highlights of the Airshow's 10th anniversary celebrations, was staged outdoors at the majestic Dubai International Marine Club.

During the evening, Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Airports Company and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, presented the Dubai Airshow exhibitor awards.

Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Airports, also provided guests a detailed update on the historic week at the 10th Dubai Airshow.

Following the speeches and award presentations, Ross, who looked stunning dressed in a shimmering white gown and boa took centre stage and opened the concert with the Motown classic ‘I'm coming out'. Guests flocked to the stage and were captivated by Ross' impeccable voice, dynamic dancing and stage presence.

Ross also performed hits including ‘Ain't No Mountain High Enough', ‘Do You Know Where You're Going To', the theme song from her 1976 film ‘Mahogany', and songs from her days in the Supremes. The legendary artist entertained guests for over an hour and ended the spectacular concert with a mesmerizing performance of ‘I will survive'.
