Man critical after falling into manhole

Sharjah: A man is reported to be critical after falling from a building under construction in Al Majara early on Friday morning, a Sharjah Police official told Gulf News.
The Pakistani man plunged into a manhole. Passers-by reported the incident to the police at around 6.45am.
Paramedics transferred the man to Kuwait hospital. A police investigation showed the man's visa had expired.
It is not clear whether he was working for the construction company or was using the building as shelter.
Construction company staff have been summoned for questioning.
