Sharjah: Visitors to Al Qasba, Sharjah’s premier leisure and family destination, can enjoy food at restaurants and cafes until 3am during Ramadan.

The Al Qasba area has been decked up with spectacular lighting, including oriental lanterns.

Visitors can make the most of the delights served by many restaurants and cafés along Al Qasba’s walkways, both before suhour and following the firing of the Ramadan cannon, which announces the ending of the fast at sunset.

“Ramadan at Al Qasba has a special charm as visitors can find serenity and tranquillity when ending their fast and eating their iftar meal in the outdoor courtyard. The outdoor sitting area has been specially decorated with lights, lanterns and colour for Ramadan to create a whole new atmosphere that makes Al Qasba a favourite local destination during the month,” said Sultan Mohammad Shattaf, Al Qasba manager.

He added; “Ramadan is the month in which people get together and meet relatives and friends long into the evening. Because of this, Al Qasba will be open until the early hours during Ramadan so that people can eat suhour and iftar meals together.”

Al Qasba has plenty to offer in terms of culture, entertainment and leisure attractions for all ages, including shops, restaurants and cafés. It offers unique features, such as the Eye of the Emirates-Wheel — the first of its kind in the region — Al Qasba Theatre, with its capacity to host an audience of 250, Multaqa Al Qasba Conference Hall, Business Centre, Al Qasba Plaza, Kids Fun Zone, Al Qasba Musical Fountain, and the Maraya Art Centre.
