Dubai: A video of Indian and Pakistani army soldiers dancing together at a conference has gone viral, and online users enjoyed watching the camaraderie between both armies.
Members of both armies were present at a summit in Russia to participate in the Peaceful Mission 2018, as stated by India-based New Delhi Television Limited (NDTV).
The event was an anti-terror drill hosted by the Beijing-based Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) held in Chebarkul town in Russia, from August 22 to August 30.
According to a report by Pakistani newspaper, The Express Tribune: “The soldiers of all participating countries were attending a function arranged by the Indian Army on the second last day of the exercises, where they celebrated together by dancing.”
In the video, soldiers form India and Pakistan are seen dancing to Bollywood and Punjabi songs and can be seen enjoying themselves.
The video was shared on twitter and people appreciated the spirit of the soldiers.

According to a report by NDTV: “3,000 soldiers from China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, India and Pakistan participated in the drill.
The Indian contingent of 200 personnel was primarily composed of troops from infantry and affiliated arms, and services along with the Indian Air Force.”
The SCO, or Shanghai Pact, is a Eurasian political, economic, and security alliance, the creation of which was announced on June 15, 2001.
India and Pakistan became full members of the SCO on June 9, 2017.
