Dubai: As part of the UAE’s efforts to enhance its emergency response efforts, the country launched the Hassantuk programme in 2017.

The fire safety system, launched by the Ministry of Interior, links fire alarms and smoke detectors to a centralised Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) where operators verify if an alarm is genuine or false in less than 120 seconds. The system connects commercial and residential buildings to the Civil Defence’s Command and Control Centre of the Ministry, to provide real-time updates to the emergency response teams, who are able to assess the situation and respond to it more efficiently.

Hassantuk for Homes

As part of the service, the Ministry also provides ‘Hassantuk for Homes’, where villa owners can also register their residential units with the Ministry. Once installed, the system will be able to detect any fire hazard at your home and alert the Civil Defence to dispatch a fire truck to be at your rescue.

In parallel the Etisalat team will contact you instantly to ensure your safety and verify the alert.
