Nearly 300 pounds of Irish wrestling muscle will land in Dubai next week — but the bouts will all be virtual.
WWE reigning champion Sheamus will make an appearance at the Games 14 gaming convention at Dubai World Trade Centre on September 12 to promote the WWE game 2K15.
Games 14 takes place from September 11-13, with Dublin-born WWE Superstar Sheamus (real name Stephen Farrelly) meeting his fans and signing autographs from 3.30-5.30pm on September 12.
Fans will also get to play WWE 2K15, a Playstation and Xbox game that releases on October 28 in North America and October 31 internationally — and perhaps have a credible chance of beating the wrestler.
General tickets for the event are Dh50, at online ticket sellers and Geekay Games stores.
The convention is open to the public from 2-10pm on September 11; 1-10pm on September 12, and noon-9pm on September 13.
