Now that 3 Idiots is a mega blockbuster and Aamir Khan has a firm foothold in Bollywood, the actor has decided it's time to pursue hobbies that have nothing to do with movies. After a long holiday overseas, Khan plans to learn how to cook.
"I'm fascinated with cooking. My mother is my favourite cook. She can make everything from exotic dishes to regular stuff exceptionally well. And when I feel like having a home-cooked meal, I just drive to Pune to eat it. Kiran (Khan's wife) is also a fantastic cook."
Khan says all he can do is boil an egg and make a cup of tea. But since he's a perfectionist, we're quite confident that Khan will soon cook up a storm. We can only dream of sampling some of those culinary delights!

One person truly overjoyed by the success of 3 Idiots is Kareena Kapoor. After her three previous movie flops - Kambakht Ishq, Kurbaan and Main Aur Mrs Khanna - this was her first hit in 2009. Speaking to the media, she said, "There I was licking my wounds when God answered my prayers. Honestly, I'm delirious." And what about her penchant for the Khans? Defending herself, she added, "Listen, is it wrong to love more than one Khan at a time? I'm guilty of just that. Shah Rukh and Gauri are my close friends. I love Saifu. And as for Aamir, well, what can I say? He's the new Khan on my block." Looks like, some girls have all the luck.
Is Salman ready for love?
Now that he's over 40, it seems like Salman Khan is not interested in playing the field any longer and feels it's time he found the right woman to settle down with and start a family.
Recently, while he was shooting in Panchgani - a hill station a few hours away from Mumbai that's famous for its elite boarding schools - the famous actor was forced to spend a lot of time with his young fans. The students took a break from their studies and stood outside the venue where the movie was being filmed to catch a glimpse of their favourite screen idol.
Later, while talking to one of the crew members, Khan confided that he feels the need to have a family of his own. Let's just hope that he starts looking for his right lady real soon!
