What is Motiongate Dubai?
It’s one of the world’s most immersive, exciting theme parks where you can truly go beyond the screen to put yourself into your favourite Hollywood movies.
What is unique about it?
The park brings together three major motion picture studios: DreamWorks Animation, Sony Pictures Studios - including the Smurfs, and Lionsgate for the first time in a theme park environment. This is a global first, so visitors will get an experience not offered anywhere else in the world.
What is your role?
As general Manager I subscribe to the team concept so in a way I am also the coach? We all have an important part to play at Motiongate Dubai.
How many attractions will the park have?
It features 27 key rides and attractions inspired by Hollywood blockbusters such as the Ghostbusters, Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Smurfs and The Hunger Games. We also have live entertainment.
How many rollercoasters will be there?
We have five action-packed rollercoasters including The Green Hornet: High Speed Chase, a super compact and zippy ride, and Smurfs Village Express, the ideal ride for kids and first-timers.
Name a must-see attraction.
I personally can’t wait for ‘Step Up Dubai, All In!’ – our live hip hop stage show inspired by the hit franchise. It’s got everything - dancing, singing, acrobatics and it’s hosted in our 1,000-seat Hollywood Theatre.
