Dubai: Omar Bin Laden, son of Al Qaida leader Osama Bin Laden, has announced that he has divorced his second wife, Zaina Al Sabah, over the issue of a surrogate child.
Omar said he has disagreements with her on many points and, most importantly, does not want a surrogate child. He wished the best for Zaina Al Sabah but can no longer be married to her.
Omar told Gulf News over the telephone from Qatar that he will remain on good terms with his ex-wife Zaina Al Sabah, but due to the disagreements,life as a married couple has proved to be impossible.
He said his mother has asked him to divorce his second wife and he has done so because of the difficulties he was having with Zaina.
