Police catch 12 infiltrators in Omani waters

Muscat: The coast guards with the Royal Oman Police (ROP) have apprehended 12 infiltrators from Omani territorial waters closer to Iran, according to a ROP press release on Wednesday.

"The boat carrying 12 Bangladeshi nationals and two Iranian nationals was intercepted near Iranian waters but inside Omani territorial waters and all 12 are being held at local police station for court action and their boat has been seized," the ROP said.
