Cairo: The Omani Health Ministry Tuesday confirmed 82 new cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing to 2,131 the country's overall infections including 10 deaths.

The newly diagnosed cases are 40 Omanis and 42 foreigners, the ministry said without a nationality breakdown, according to Oman's news agency ONA.

A total of 364 out of the COVID-19 patients in the sultanate have recovered, the ministry said.
