5.8 magnitude earthquake recorded in Arabian Sea
Quake was not felt by UAE residents and had no effect in the country

Dubai: An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter Scale in the Arabian Sea off the coast of Oman was recorded by the National Seismic Network at 7.24am on Thursday.
The National Centre of Meteorology reported that the quake occured at a depth of 10km, was not felt by the residents and had no effect in the country.
