Abu Dhabi: Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister and Chairman of the Emirates Foundation for Youth Development, has directed the foundation to provide all the volunteers of the National Emergency Response Programme, Sanid, with first aid and pulmonary resuscitation equipment to be kept in their homes and their cars to be used in emergencies.
The initiative aims to raise the readiness of the volunteers of the National Emergency Response Programme who have received advanced training in the field of emergency response, and enhance their willingness to face a crisis or emergency wherever they are and at any time, whenever they occur.
In implementation of the directives of Shaikh Abdullah, the committees in Sanid convened to discuss the action plan and make all necessary arrangements to secure first-aid kits to distribute to thousands of volunteers in the programme.
