Beijing: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Sunday met a number of Emirati students studying in Chinese universities and institutes.

Shaikh Mohammad asked the students about their majors and inquired about their academic conditions. He encouraged them to achieve excellence and success in their studies so as to participate with their fellow students in enhancing the development process in the UAE.

Shaikh Mohammad stressed the importance of the role of UAE students studying abroad as they act as ambassadors of their country to convey the image of their country and the Emirati people’s values of tolerance and coexistence, as well as to highlight the progress level reached in all areas, to other nations and peoples across the world.

He expressed his pleasure and pride in meeting Emirati students and inquiring about their condition, and emphasised that all UAE students in the country and abroad are given great attention by the UAE leadership, which will spare no effort to provide all possible support to help Emirati students and encourage them to exert further efforts to realise their goals.

The students expressed happiness at meeting Shaikh Mohammad and promised him they will pursue education until they earn the highest degrees, to serve their nation better and continue the march of progress in their country.

Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Shaikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, were present.
