Located in Abu Dhabi, it will accommodate 6,000 students.
At this moment 2,000 construction personnel are working furiously towards completing Zayed University's (ZU) most ambitious project yet.
Spread over an area larger than 30 football fields, the new Zayed University campus in Abu Dhabi will be completed in 2011. It is twice the size of the ZU campus in Dubai International Academic City.

It will accommodate 6,000 students comprising 70 per cent female and 30 per cent male.
Commenting on the futuristic design of the new campus, Physical Development Director Riham Hwaidi said: "The university design will be a masterpiece with various distinguished elements such as the feature roof, the promenades, the central campus and courtyards."
She said the state-of-the art campus incorporates a combination of traditional and contemporary architectural and engineering elements "highlighting the national identity and architectural heritage of the UAE". The wavy, shell-like roof is the dominant structure.
The university's piece de résistance is its convention centre and 18,000 square metre library with a capacity to house half a million books.
The campus will have faculty and administration buildings, a childcare facility, residence halls, classrooms, science and computer labs, cafeterias and a sports complex, all equipped with the latest technologies.
