An exhibition of Australian aboriginal art will go on display at Deira City Centre today. Renowned Australian aboriginal artist Kunda Beamo, a descendent of the Yamagi Tribe of Western Australia, is displaying his tribal paintings. Kunda is a spiritual painter who dreams the images and then translates them onto canvas. His work represents tribal people, their culture, and animals.
"The exhibition will recreate the images of the aboriginal lifestyle and culture and offer a slice of how life had been," said a spokesperson from Ozzie Opportunities, organisers of the exhibition. "It is a remembrance of the spirit, life and uniqueness of the aboriginal people and of dreaming." Australian Ambassador John Hines will officially inaugurate the exhibition which will continue until April 14.
