Karting in Al Ain
If you prefer to be out in the sun this summer, how about some karting fun? Al Ain Raceway is offering a "summer happy hour" between 4pm to 6pm where racers get 25 percent off the price of driving sessions. There's also the 3 for 2 offer every Monday where you can buy two sessions and get the third one free.
Ultimate hangout
The District at du Forum, Yas Island opens its gates this weekend to welcome the youth aged 14 to 23 for an "ultimate summer hangout". The District, a flagship event in this year’s Abu Dhabi Summer Season by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority is designed as a micro-city where its "citizens" can socialise, play, create, explore, find inspiration, make connections or even disconnect if that’s what they’re in the mood for. A grown-up version of Kidzania? Tickets are available on www.thedistrict.me/tickets, Virgin Megastore or Ticketmaster.
