Arab Fashion Week is to be held in Riyadh this month. This will be the first fashion week held in Saudi Arabia and will include shows from Roberto Cavalli and Jean Paul Gaultier as well as a number of regional designers. The event, which has previously been held in Dubai, bills itself as ‘the world’s only ready-couture and pre-collections fashion week’. As well as catwalk shows, the event will feature trunk shows, pop-up stores, panel discussions and even a performance by a Russian ballet company. The event was originally due to be held from March 26 to 31, however, organisers from the Arab Fashion Council confirmed that it has been postponed to April 10-14.
