Dubai: Emirates NBD Bank has announced the launch of the ‘Fight Against Fraud’ initiative, a public service campaign to raise awareness about financial fraud and to generate a greater understanding of banking scams and threats faced by bank customers.
“We request the public to contact the security forces via its 24-hour Al Ameen service if they suspect that there has been an attempt at fraud or even to inquire about the fraudulent methods practised by criminals,” said Major General Mohammad Saeed Al Merri, deputy director of community services at Dubai Police.
The main focus of the campaign is to educate customers about the importance of not revealing their bank account details to anyone and providing them with tips to prevent fraud.
The campaign is organised by Emirates NBD in coordination with Dubai Police and Al Ameen Service.
