The former queen bee of the good old Lollywood, Saima Noor has been famously working in TV plays for some time now. What is commendable is that she is open to age-appropriate characters.
One of her recent serials, Ye Mera Deewanapan Hai, had her play a lady who becomes the object of affection of a man half her age, in a Summer of 42-inspired love story.
Noor’s next project is, again, opposite a younger Sarmad Sultan Khoosat.
Titled Lamhe, the drama serial is directed by Asim Ali for Aplus. It is said to be a complex tale of “love, betrayal, selfishness and its psychological effects on future generations.”
The serial also features Faiza Gillani, Kinza Hashmi, Noor Al Hassan, and Salina Cipra, among others.
