Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor may have bowled the audience over with his smooth moves at the closing ceremony of the Indian Premier League, but did you know about the behind-the-scenes drama? The Kaminey actor had just one day to rehearse and woke up with a sprained neck on Sunday morning, he told tabloid!.
" Firstly, I was not supposed to perform at IPL because I had a shoot in Europe. But because of the volcano ash effect, my flights were cancelled. What's more, I woke up with a sprain in my neck. Till the last moment, I was doubtful whether I'll put up a good show," Kapoor said on Monday. His fears were unfounded as the 55,000-plus crowd enjoyed his every move.
"An army of doctors helped me get on my feet. And the moment I entered the stadium, I knew everything was going to be all right."
