Lindsay Lohan's assertion that "I don't drink, do drugs or lie" was looking remarkably suspect last night when a probation report released last night stated that she had drank alcohol the night she was involved with a scuffle with an employee at the Betty Ford rehab clinic, and also that she "has been suspected of similar conduct in other jewellery stores."
The shocking report, which shows the 24-year-old in a damning light revealed that no charges had ever been filed by the stores against the actress, despite general belief that she was a suspect.
"The probation officer believes that substance abuse is the root of the defendant's problems," said the report – a statement LA Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner disagreed with Wednesday, after having opined of Lindsay concerning her most recent alleged theft of a Dh9,000 necklace, "I see a level of brazenness with ‘Let me see what I can get away with here.'"
The report, citing police interviews with restaurant and nightclub employees, added that Lindsay had indeed consumed alcohol after sneaking out from the Betty Ford Center last December, however charges that she battered a rehab employee upon her return that night were dropped due to lack of evidence.
The Mean Girls actress has been ordered to attend psychological counselling instead of additional rehab, as well as a four-month jail term – which she will most probably serve at home - and community service.
